Today was part travel to get back to Omaha. Then our mission was to award some quilts to a couple of inbound Vietnam veterans. Our first was Dennis, 28 years in the Air Force and as he said it, “I know my butt checks were left in Vietnam rom all the bombing.
Our second was to Stuart, 20 years Air Force retired Vietnam veteran that lived next door to my cousin Sue. Both veterans were affected by agent orange.
Our third quilt of the day was to cousin Jim, a retired Air Force Major. I was grateful to be able to honor all three men.
Tonight, I will speak to a women’s group and surprise some female veterans. So stay tuned for more adventures . . . . . . . .
God’s blessings
Gail
